Today, an IGN reader named Jack pointed out that the official Burning Skies page on PlayStation.com has the first real information.
According to the site, Resistance Burning Skies will have "competitive 8-player online multiplayer across 6 unique maps and 3 modes."
The minimum players will be two, and the modes are wifi-based.

Less Modes Than RR...Disappointing, Only 1 Extra Map...Hopefully Will Have A Shit Load Of DLC

That sounds kinda shitty Sad I hope it's like RR where you have to pick weapons up as you go along. I liked that shit! ;D
